Wound & Ostomy Care Clinic
Everybody heals differently and various factors can affect this healing process. If your healing process is disrupted, you may be left with sores, wounds or infections that are unable to or very slow to heal. That’s where our dedicated wound care providers can help. They are specially trained in acute and chronic wound care and will create a comprehensive care plan for healing your wound. This will involve a thorough evaluation, wound cultures and vascular studies and may also include pain and nutrition management, physical therapy, infectious disease and diabetes management.
If you have any of the following conditions, you may be at risk for developing non-healing wounds:
- Diabetes
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Traumatic injury
- Complications following surgery
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Congestive heart failure
Ostomy patients deserve to receive professional medical support, stoma nursing care and psychosocial support in
both the pre and postoperative stage.
