During your stay, you’ll be cared for by a team of quality hospitalists. These are physicians who specialize in hospital-based care and who are trained to serve a broad range of acute medical needs. Our hospitalists manage and coordinate inpatient care from admission to discharge, working closely with your primary care physician or specialist.

 Acute care at Edgerton Hospital:

• Our medical/surgical department is staffed 24/7 by registered nurses who visit hourly to monitor your medical condition and needs.
• With a typical staff to patient ratio of 1:5, you can be assured of prompt and personal care.
• Private rooms.
• In-house services include an on-site pharmacy, registered dietitian and rehabilitation care.
• Patient and family services are provided by a medical social worker.
