Edgerton Hospital Names New Board of Trustees Member

Edgerton Hospital and Health Services is pleased to announce the appointment of new Board of Trustees member, Norm Fjelstad, Ph.D. With this addition, the hospital’s Board is now a team of ten who, along with the hospital administration team, provide high-level leadership to all areas of hospital operations.

Fjelstad has an extensive background in the field of education, including serving as the Superintendent of the Edgerton School District for 22 years and instructing Ph.D. students at UW-Madison and Cardinal Stritch University, prior to retirement in 2010. Upon retirement, Fjelstad continued to consult new Superintendents throughout the State of Wisconsin. Most recently, Fjelstad focuses on family time and giving back to his community. He has served in the Edgerton Rotary Club for the past 33 years, has held the role of president, and now is president-elect for 2021-22. He is looking forward to providing leadership in the healthcare industry, as he has always had great respect for those who work in and support hospitals.

“We are pleased to welcome Norm to our Board of Trustees. His past leadership experience, coupled with his passion for giving back to his community, is extremely valuable to our team as we continue to focus on offering the highest quality of care,” said Cindi Swanson, Board Chair.
