Edgerton Hospital & Health Services invites women of all ages to attend a special Women’s Health Month Event on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Edgerton Hospital.
This educational and empowering program will feature expert-led discussions focused on prevention, wellness, mental health, nutrition, and physical wellbeing. Designed to provide practical tools and trusted medical guidance, the event supports women’s health at every stage of life.
*Food and gift bags will be provided to attendees.
Presenter: Dr. Binita Chandran – Family Medicine
Dr. Chandran will discuss:
Women’s unique health needs across the lifespan
Dietary considerations and nutritional guidance
Vitamins and supplements: what’s helpful vs. hype
Common lab tests and understanding what your results mean

Topics include:
The impact of stress and “invisible labor” on women’s mental health
Practical strategies for managing emotional load and burnout
Mental health resources and support available through EHHS

Safe, effective exercise strategies for all fitness levels

Kelsey Olson, PT, DPT, CSRS – Physical Therapist
This presentation will focus on:
The importance of strength and weight training for women
Balance and flexibility for injury prevention
Pilates and core stability
Pelvic health and incontinence awareness
