Join Edgerton Hospital's Speech Language Pathologist (Emily Kieck, MS CCC-SLP), for a Coffee & Chat about communication and swallowing disorders common in adults.  Emily provides assessment and treatment for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing for a wide range of diagnoses including: aphasia (language difficulties), dysarthria (slurred speech), apraxia of speech (difficulty planning and coordinating speech movements), voice disorders, fluency disorders (like stuttering), cognitive-communication impairments (problems understanding or expressing language), and dysphagia (swallowing difficulties).

Emily is also certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) - an intensive voice program for people with Parkinson's Disease to increase their loudness and make them easier to understand.
