This course is designed to give young athletes and parents a better understanding of how eating a healthy, balanced diet can help boost athletic performance. Registered Dietitian Jennifer Ludwig will discuss the appropriate nutritional needs for athletes such as sufficient caloric intake, adequate hydration, timing of meals for peak performance,
and healthy snack ideas. Kids will leave with a better understanding of the importance of what they put into their bodies.
