Jim Schultz, CEO
Prior to being appointed CEO in April 2015, Jim served as interim CEO and has been an active Board of Trustees member for the past 10 years, holding the position of Board Chair for five years and Foundation Board Chair for four years. Jim received his bachelor’s degree in business administration/education from Wartburg College and has done graduate studies at UW-Madison. As CEO, Jim will oversee all strategic, operational and clinical initiatives for Edgerton Hospital as well as bring his “out-of-the-box” thinking strategies to the table as we strive for continuous improvement.
Charles H. Roeder, Vice President/CFO
Charles has served as Edgerton Hospital’s chief financial officer (CFO) since 2002. With 27 years of experience managing health care finance, Charles is highly accredited. He also is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and an MBA from Tulane University. Prior to his position at Edgerton Hospital, Charles was a college instructor, a CPA firm auditor and a controller/CFO at a variety of hospitals. He is the proud recipient of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Folmer Bronze and Reeves Silver Merit awards.
Sue Alwin-Popp, Chief Nursing Officer
Sue oversees all clinical staff and manages all aspects of patient care. In addition to being a registered nurse, she has over 14 years of experience in health care and insurance review and over 10 years experience in discharge planning and family assistance. Prior to joining the Edgerton Hospital team in 2004, Sue held utilization and case management positions for large insurance firms, taught a medical ethics class at Blackhawk Technical College and managed an HIM department. She is currently a member of the Wisconsin Nursing Association and the American Health Information Management Association, and she is a Stephen Minister.
Mark Kindschi, SPRH, Director of Human Resources
With over 20 years of experience in human resources and seven years in the health care industry, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. Most recently, Mark served as director of human resources for First Supply, LLC, where he developed and implemented a management trainee program, a leadership development program and served on the strategic management team. Mark achieved his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 1999 and served on the Wisconsin Legislative Council Special Committee on Labor Shortages throughout 2000. In 2005, he achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Mark currently is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
Bonnie Robinson, Foundation Director
Bonnie has extensive experience in foundation and non-profit work. She served for 12 years as President of the Janesville Foundation, which supported significant community programs and projects. She was a founding board member and chaired the curriculum committee for the first adult Leadership Development Academy for Janesville. She has her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts Studies from Goucher College. As foundation director, Bonnie oversees all fundraising efforts at Edgerton Hospital.
