Marc Augsburger, MBA, BSN,
Chief Executive Officer

Marc brings to the CEO position over 30 years of diverse experience in the healthcare industry, including 18 years of progressive healthcare management throughout the hospital.  For the past 12 years, Marc has served as President/CEO of critical access hospitals, similar to Edgerton Hospital -  McLaren Caro Region, in Caro, Michigan and Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa. Prior to his CEO experience, Marc managed various emergency departments and worked clinically as a registered nurse in a number of areas including a cardiac stepdown unit, special care unit, and emergency departments. He has also had the honor of being a helicopter flight nurse for eight years. In addition to his extensive work history, Marc takes pride in his community involvement, including serving as President of numerous community service organizations.

Marc holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Lima Technical College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University and a Master’s of Business Administration, Healthcare Emphasis, from Baker College of Graduate Studies.

Alison Hanaman, BSN, RN
Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer

Alison brings to this position 18 years of hands-on nursing experience, as well as five years of high-level management. Most recently, Alison held the position of Emergency Department Manager and Trauma/Emergency Management Coordinator for Edgerton Hospital. In this role she led a team of 25 registered nurses and medical assistants, as they provided around-the-clock care to patients. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Alison also offered leadership to the Edgerton Hospital’s team by serving as its Incident Commander. Prior to joining the team at Edgerton Hospital, Alison held numerous positions at Beloit Health System, including Clinical Nurse Manager, Trauma Program Coordinator, and Registered Nurse. She continues to be an instructor with the national “Stop the Bleed” program and maintains her ongoing relationship with local schools as a trauma/first aid speaker. Alison holds her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix and is currently working to complete her Master of Healthcare Administration through The University of Arizona.

Charles H. Roeder, Vice President/CFO

Charles has served as Edgerton Hospital’s chief financial officer (CFO) since 2002. With 27 years of experience managing health care finance, Charles is highly accredited. He also is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and an MBA from Tulane University. Prior to his position at Edgerton Hospital, Charles was a college instructor, a CPA firm auditor and a controller/CFO at a variety of hospitals. He is the proud recipient of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Folmer Bronze and Reeves Silver Merit awards.

Mark Kindschi, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Director of Human Resources

 

With over 20 years of experience in human resources and seven years in the health care industry, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. Most recently, Mark served as director of human resources for First Supply, LLC, where he developed and implemented a management trainee program, a leadership development program and served on the strategic management team. Mark achieved his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 1999 and served on the Wisconsin Legislative Council Special Committee on Labor Shortages throughout 2000. In 2005, he achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Mark currently is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
