Edgerton Hospital Named 2024 Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in the U.S.

Edgerton Hospital and Health Services has merited a 2024 Top 20 Best Practices in Patient Satisfaction designation from the National Rural Health Association (NRHA).

Edgerton Hospital was ranked in the Top 20 for patient satisfaction among all critical access hospitals in the U.S. This ranking is determined by the Chartis Center for Rural Health, based on data compiled in the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™, specifically the patient satisfaction domain.

The National Rural Health Association considers Edgerton Hospital to be an exemplar of best practices in all of rural health care.

Edgerton Hospital and Health Services CEO, Marc Augsburger credited his staff for this recognition. “We are honored to receive this award from the National Rural Health Association regarding our practices in patient care, quality, and satisfaction.  I’m so proud of our staff!  This award is a reflection of our team’s dedication to providing patient focused care each and every day.”

Edgerton Hospital will be recognized by the National Rural Health Association, along with the other Top 20  facilities designated as best practices in the categories of quality and patient satisfaction, at the NRHA’s 2024 Critical Access Hospital Conference, in Kansas City, Mo, in September.

The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) is a national nonprofit membership organization with more than 20,000 members. The association’s mission is to provide leadership on rural health issues. NRHA membership consists of a diverse collection of individuals and organizations, all of whom share the common bond of an interest in rural health.
