Med/Surg - Health Unit Coordinators - days, PM's, and some weekends

The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for performing health unit coordinator procedures for the following:  admission, discharge, pre-procedure, post-procedure, and transfer.  The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for unit—phone management, transcription of physicians’ orders, and coordinating the flow of paper information into the chart.  With additional cross-training to monitor patients on cardiac monitoring under the direction of the registered nurse.
