Registered Nurse - House Supervisor
Edgerton Hospital is searching for an exceptional experienced leader for our House Supervisor role. In this role you’ll provide leadership by supervising staff under the direction of management.
Primary duties for the House Supervisor include:
- Functions as the second nurse in the ED, while assisting with directing care on the Medical Surgical Unit, supervises the routine functions for the shift in accordance with hospital and nursing policies, fosters and maintains a good working rapport with other departmental personnel to ensure patient care needs are met in a timely manner, serves as a resource to staff on hospital policies, procedures, and standards. This may include contacting a person off site for the appropriate information/clarification. Participates and takes a leadership role in PI projects, and serves as a role model in affecting change
- Hold RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin, have a high level of accountability and self-drive, have a strong clinical background in the ED or critical-care setting, be a role model of the hospital’s I CARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence, demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills, proficient with EPIC, lead and manage change, develop effective work relationships throughout the hospital, and be an effective supervisor, coach and mentor.
We are seeking applications for a 30 hour per week Registered Nurse with Med/Surg experience and Per Diem nurses with Surgical experience. The appropriate candidate would be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor degree is preferred. This person should hold a valid Wisconsin RN nursing license, have a CPR Certification; ACLS required, and PALS recommended.
